Regea Cell and Tissue Center
Regea Cell and Tissue Center is a clinical tissue bank that meets the requirements of the national legislation and EU directives. The tissue bank processes and supplies tissues (bone, tendon, amniotic membrane, sclera and cornea) for clinical use. Regea Cell and Tissue Center also produces adipose tissue derived stem cell products for the treatment of bone defects (so called ATMP products), following GMP guidelines.
Regea Cell and Tissue Center is part of the Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences of the University of Tampere, which belongs to BioMediTech institute founded by the University of Tampere and Tampere University of Technology. Regea is located in the Finn-Medi Science Park in Tampere, Finland.
